About this Project
App for floral business owners on Shopify for features that doesn’t have native support, like upselling products, customizing checkouts, and managing delivery rules.

My role in this project was to design the user interface and user experience for the app, handle QA, and implement key MVP features. The goal was to create an all-in-one solution for flower shops.
Process
To obtain the “Made for Shopify” badge, we had to keep with the Polaris design system.
However, this required extending Polaris to use features that were not covered by Shopify’s native design guidelines.
Balancing innovation with adherence to Shopify’s design standards was the key challenge.
Solution
As one of the designers responsible for launching the MVP within a month, I developed several key features, including:
- Shopify’s first-ever upsell section, where the entire buying process occurs on the same page.
- Zip validator to help floral stores manage delivery rules.
- Custom checkout field customizer.
- The entire learning base for the app.
